Hi Viva,
Sorry for not responding here before.. we have been sneaking in some time on our boat as well as trying to get planting (flower bedfs in front) and yard work (sod.. ugh) accomplished before everything burns up in the Alabama heat.
I really know very little about Healthcare except as a resentful consumer. Would speak with your chemist friend anytime. Or tell me how/where you want me to deal with it in the Forum? We have just discovered how useful being a chemist can be... our son who is an IP attorney in DC specializing in biopharma, alternative energy & Japanese companies, has 2 chemistry degrees. He was just offered an amazing position a the #1 litigation firm in the US in part because of... his chemistry & Japanese language skills.
Also Jane Mulikin.
Am in your hands.

I'm aware of two people who are interested in the sciences as careers. One is in an active search, the other is quasi-passive. I also know that you and at least one other person on this network is involved in heathcare/science recruiting.

One person is interested in healthcare management. The other in chemical interactions from a chemistry lab perspective.

Would you say a few words about these industries in the Forum/Discussions area? I think that will make you and your specialty more obvious and therefore more approachable.

And, I just enjoy putting people together who seem like logical connections.

OMG!!!! Maybe it's a good thing that we re-create our profiles each time we join a new network. I'm reading the one you created here. Which one of us was cloned from the other? Whatever, I think yours got the better juice! Mine has been on a long-term drought.

More importantly, there's someone from my original discussion and newsletter list who needs to know you and GXL.

Jane Mullikin started Spritual Sisters with her sister some 15 years ago or more. I believe they were the budding of acceptability of spirituality in the workplace.

She's now retired and doing work with at-risk and inner-city school-aged kids. She does not feel she or her work is appreciated. I believe she needs to be here to get some soulful and sisterly reinforcement and a positive outlet for her amazing talents.

Anyone willing to rope her in here?

Hi Sondra

What's happening in the bio/pharma space? It seems to me that there have been a lot of industry changes happening that are affecting the number of positions available to pharmacists. But that would mean chemists and healthcare workers need to be even more astute and available.

Would you do this coming Friday's humor?

Hi Sondra... Thx to invite me here.

These days it's so easy to make online friends... More difficult it's to keep them...

I appreciate your friendship,
