About Me:
Just started my own executive search agency for HRM, Sales & Communication talent. I am also a certified Behavioral Analyst and trained in PDI's 360 analysis. Before I have worked at the HQ of Europe of a Fortune 500 (Avery Dennison) as the HR Manager for 2 years where I left to pursue the dream I have alsways had, namely owning my own business :-) Before that I was the HR Manager at the European HQ of a GLobal Shipping company for 4 years and before that I was in recruitment for 3 years. I studied personnelmanagement.
Interests and Things That Get Me Really Excited:
Executive search, the "hunt" for that specific candidate that no one seems to be able to find which requires creativity and not just going through the motions! Also I have a relentless curiosity for what makes people 'tick'.
Awards/Professional Accomplishments
Voted by all the recruiters into the Dutch committee at the recruitment agency I was at. I was the sole representative of all recruiters on how we would like to portrait our company to the customers / candidates in the HQ board for the optimalisation of the website and affiliate public affairs exposure.

Thanks Yvonne for your kind and motivational words! It is very difficult in Europe to break through the 'glass ceiling' but a little luck, some brains and loads of boldness do seem to get you places ;-)

I took a peek at your site and would be an honor to write an article for your column sometime, I have been asked in The Netherlands to do the same by one of the biggest HR networks (HRlog.nl). I gladly accepted and am now an official columnist for their site (it is by, for and about Human Resources). I have found that I love to write so that is pure gain in itself!

Would love to hear more about you (Mensa.. impressive) and your experiences in the recruitment field, since I am only starting up my company there is loads to learn (and do wrong ;-) before getting the business up and running!

Have a brilliant day and hope to hear from you soon!

Welcome, Jak! Your background makes you quite a well-rounded personality. Your achievements are admirable. It's my understanding that Europe is not as progressive in terms of acceptance of women holding meaningful positions in business. But your accomplishments seem to sa "bah!" to that notice.

I hope you'll inspire us.

There was a contact I had in 2001-2 who spoke about NLP and then was generous enough to write an article for my column about it called "Rapport: How to Get It."

I won't ask you to write an article for the column, but I'm certain the members of the site would love to learn more about NLP, assessments, 360 analysis, and so on.
