About Me:: I work at home full-time as a Product Manager for a global Human Resources Website.

Interests and Things That Get Me Really Excited:: Anything spontaneous! Tropical vacations and meeting people from different cultures are tops on my list. I enjoy the outdoors, parties, reading lots of books and spending time with my kids.

Awards/Professional Accomplishments: Excelled in the journalism field, started my own website for homeworkers, volunteer awards for various companies and organizations.

Favorite Music, Movies, Books::: I love comedies because there is so much sorrow in this world, you need to enjoy a good laugh once in a while. Silliness goes a long way! Blades of Glory was my favourite this year. For music, anything latin and funky is my choice. I love suspenseful books by Dean Koontz but also like the romantic ones by Louise Bagshawe.

Favorite TV Shows:: America's Funniest Home Videos, Dancing with the Stars and Who Wants to be a Millionaire are my regular favorites.

We contact the members who posted the inappropriate content to let them know we are removing their content as well as educating them on what is appropriate and what is not. We also still accept content and source out quality articles that we input onsite ourselves. There are pros and cons to social networking but we'll do our best to keep the quality control in check. We are still making improvements and the ebulletins are currently the same as before. If there's another discussion thread on this, please let me know. I am interested in the feedback. Thanks!

One of the changes is each member has their own blog and there's encouragement to see the site as a social networking venue.

There's also the ability to publish your own articles. Does this mean HR.com no longer accepts submissions or will there be two classes of articles?

As I look at some other sites that allow article self publishing, I also see a lessening of quality control on those sites. HR.com has grown to be one of the high quality sites for content. How will content be reviewed; what will determine which articles will be featured in the weekly newsletter?
