A friend and I were observing the newest crop of freshmen and considering the things they do. We then considered how their new lives translate onto social networking sites such as MySpace, FaceBook, Hi5, and others.

One of the things I most dislike is wasting time. Needlessly and mindlessly doing things repeatively for the sake of doing <i>something</i> instead of meaningful engagement in a purposeful activity that has a substantive reward for completion drives me up a wall.
While we're on the subject of things that make me grind my teeth, disrespect is right up there in the Top Ten as well. But that's another blog post.
