A friend and I were observing the newest crop of freshmen and considering the things they do. We then considered how their new lives translate onto social networking sites such as MySpace, FaceBook, Hi5, and others.
Paraphrasing, my friend complained, "It's just a bunch of photographs of people holding cups of red beer, doing insane things, standing in outrageous positions, making faces, and just being really stupid." There was a longer litany of foolish and outlandish representations…

Here's a vocabulary builder with multiple purposes. Not only does it strive (as does with both of our vocabulary builders) to build your vocabulary and recognition of words (and therefore, your word power), increased facility in speaking and writing, better performance on qualifying and placement exams, better reading speed, and improved interviews. In addition, each time you get a word right there's a benefit for others.
Each correct word delivers credit for 10 grains of rice to a person in a country where there is poverty and hunger, distributed by the United Nations World Food Program. To see the current country breakdown of donations, click here.
